As you may have seen on Facebook, we are in the process of trying to organise an officials course (probably around September 2019). For every league meeting we attend (Youth Development League, CSSAL, Men’s League, Women’s League, Indoor league, Superteams), we are required to provide a certain number of officials. If we provide officials, we can be awarded points, however, if we are unable to provide the required number of officials, we can be penalised points.

Having our own officials would also benefit our athletes at our club championships. We must have a certain number of officials to allow the performances at the club championships to appear on the power of 10 website.

Once the officials course has been completed you only need to officiate at 4 events to get your assistant official or level 1 official qualification. Thereafter, it is up to you how many events to you officiate at.
